Getting to Stromlo Leisure Centre

Stromlo Leisure Centre is located at the corner of Uriarra Road and Dave McInnes Road, Stromlo ACT 2611, within Stromlo Forest Park and overlooking the Molonglo Valley. The centre is easily accessible by car from across Canberra, with an approximate drive time of 10 minutes from Woden and around 15 minutes from Belconnen and the Canberra City centre. Clear signage along Uriarra Road and within Stromlo Forest Park will guide you directly to the centre entrance.
Parking
Free on‑site parking is available at Stromlo Leisure Centre for members and visitors. Accessible parking spaces are located close to the main entrance for added convenience. During major events at Stromlo Forest Park, temporary parking arrangements may be in place nearby to accommodate increased visitor numbers.
Public Transport
Stromlo Leisure Centre is accessible by public transport via Transport Canberra bus services. Bus route 66 services the Stromlo area, with a stop located on Opperman Avenue, approximately a three‑minute walk from the centre. This makes travelling to Stromlo by bus a convenient option for both regular users and first‑time visitors.
